We are a grassroots Transgender- feminist and youth led organisation based and coordinated in Botswana. Advancing social justice systems for disfranchised black transgender and intersex youth. The group follows an intersectional approach in all its trans and intersex programming informed heavily by the #NothingForUsWithoutUs slogan and leaving no gender identity behind: From differently abled Trans & intersex persons , trans-sex workers, trans women and men and Gender non confirming persons trans persons living with HIV/AIDS . MISSION- To advance social justice systems for disfranchised young transgender and intersex persons of intersectional identities, improving access to basic health care (inclusive of Mental health and sexual health) as well as gender re-affirmative health care. VISION- We envision an AIDS free and just Botswana were all trans and intersex persons of marginalised identities are included in the development and implementation of National comprehensive Sexual Health and Reproductive rights programming , a compassionate Botswana were disfranchised trans and intersex communities are able to access and afford basic health care and gender re- affirmative health care country wide.Our group identifies itself as a feminist led group and an equal rights advocate. All of our transgender and intersex programming is informed by feminist theories particularly one of an intersectional approach. The advocacy tools we devise for campaigns tend to be radically inclusive in the sense that we amplify lived experiences of criminalized identities in our country. From trans sex workers to Trans and intersex youth who use drugs and Trans persons living with HIV/AIDS. Our Group believes and holds forth the view that privileges exist, created by patriarchy and the capitalist system. Such systems have created an intersection of oppressions and inequalities and that these have been reflected and translated into polices and beauracracies in our country .
