Toastmasters is a non-profit educational group, devoted to helping its members improve public speaking, communications, and leadership skills. At Baghdad Toastmasters club, we can help you improve your speaking skills in a friendly and supportive environment. We are open to anyone wishing to improve their public speaking skills, from the novice who wants to overcome their fear to the pro who needs to sharpen their delivery. Our programs cover many different areas of speaking, communication and leadership. • Beginners wanting to overcome their nervousness about public speaking. • Seasoned speakers wanting to greatly improve their public speaking skills. • Anyone wanting to gain confidence in speaking before a group. In Toastmasters, you learn by practicing how to prepare and give a speech, and you will receive helpful, friendly evaluations that help you improve with each talk. You can also practice impromptu, or "off the cuff", speaking for those situations when you can't prepare ahead of time. Speaking in this friendly club environment, with helpful feedback, will help you become more comfortable speaking in front of groups. Toastmasters can also help you develop leadership skills with opportunities to work with others. A typical Toastmasters club is made up of 20 to 50 people who meet once a week for about an tow hour or three. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation. Baghdad Toastmasters Club, founded January , 2016 , meets in "Skha alkaram NGO" in Alkindi St, Baghdad, and is the fastest growing club in Iraq County.
