VISION The vision of "Gesher El Hanoar" is to significantly minimize the scope of the dropping-out phenomenon within high risk youth in Israel, providing them an equal opportunity for future success. We aspire to achieve this by minimizing the existing gaps of education and social status and cutting off the cycle of generational transference, socially and economically. BACKGROUND "Gesher El HaNoar" NPO was founded in 2002 with the purpose of supporting youth that live in conditions of distress and risk. In addition, for the past nine years "Gesher" has been operating "Warm Homes" for the youth in Tel Aviv incorporating a small staff of teachers, National Service girls, counselors and volunteers. GOALS - Empowering and advancing youth at risk by giving comprehensive personal and social support and equipping them with life skills. - Achieving academic success, completion of Matriculation Exams and enlistment to military\national service. - Preparing the youth to independent adult life, supporting and guiding them during military service and high education. - Expanding the NPO's activity by founding additional "Warm Homes"
