We are sailing nomads, striving to live in harmony with nature, inspired by the culture and traditions of the Guna people, who continue to live in symbiosis with their ecosystems, and from whom we have so much to learn from. From managing finite resources (on land we have finite resources, too, but this fact is more evident when you're on a boat in the middle of the ocean), to working with the wind to go where you need to, to surrendering to the elements that ultimately dictate your future and to experiencing freedom like you may never have before... Gunayala is a paradise like few left in the world. It is a coral reef archipelago still beaming with life, with crystal clear water and white sand palm lined beaches. The only construction on the islands are the few palm huts where the Guna live, sleeping on hammocks and cooking with fire wood. An experience in Gunayala reminds us of the beauty of a simple life, and teaches us that we really don't need a lot of 'stuff' to be happy. Having nothing but gorgeous sunsets, clear skies and endless sea can be enough to feel fulfilled beyond expectation.
