Khalaf, began as a book publisher then, in the mid-fifties, begun manufacturing exercise and copy books for the public and private schools in Amman. Today, ISTIKLAL employs forty-three persons at three branch showrooms located in Central Town, Shmeisani, and Sweifieh.
