JL Soft has been founded in the year 2003 by Martin Janecek and Ales Ledvina – the Sophas authors. Both highly experienced in the insurance industry - especially actuary and IT experts. Sophas is a professional actuarial system especially prepared for intuitive creation and fast running cash flow models including automatic runs of many scenarios. It is especially applied (but not limited to) in insurance companies for various tasks as: assets/liability/whole company value determination, product pricing, profitability testing, risk management, ALM, many others... Since the year 2003 more than 40 licenses have been provided to many respected clients consisting from insurance companies, regulators, consultancy companies, universities, etc. within the Europe. Mission: Make a system which solves vast majority of the tasks required in the insurance industry for an acceptable price!
