Lecta is one of the leading manufacturers of specialty paper for labels and flexible packaging, pressure-sensitive materials, and paper for publishing and commercial printing in Europe, with a production capacity of over 1.6 million tons. It is the market leader in Southern Europe. The group's origins date back to the acquisition of three companies with a long tradition in their home markets: Cartiere del Garda in Italy, Condat in France, and Torraspapel in Spain. Lecta is a private company with shares held by a number of equity funds and investors. Its parent company is Lecta Ltd. with offices located in London. Lecta is also active in the distribution business with its own merchants operating under the Torraspapel name in France, Spain and Portugal, and under the Polyedra name in Italy.
