Research in Real Life is a leading, independent research organisation specialising in research designed to improve understanding of how well clinical interventions work in real-life. We take research out of the laboratory and strictly controlled trial settings, and into the real world by using clinical records to understand how typical patients respond to medical interventions. We collaborate with academic, professional and industry partners to establish clear standards for high quality real life research, especially in the areas of observational database studies. The companies Managing Director, Professor David Price, is an internationally recognised expert in respiratory medicine. Our research methodologies and reputation for excellence have largely been established in the field of respiratory medicine, but we apply them in all areas of chronic disease research. Our work now also extends into other disease areas, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and allergies. Our studies are registered on research registers and published in key, peer-reviewed health journals.
