The Reuven Field Foundation is an Irish charity with the mission of making mental health services accessible to all. Currently less than 6% of the national health budget in Ireland goes towards mental health services, despite the World Health Organization recommending a minimum of 12%. Decades of underfunding have led to chronic shortages and long waiting times, particularly for the most vulnerable members of society who lack strong family or employer support structures. The Reuven Field Foundation raises money through marketing and events, then channels funds to those providing world class services for the people who are in the most need of help. Our organisation is entirely run by volunteers and 100% of our donations go towards funding mental health services, and not running costs of the charity which are met by our founder and voluntary board members.
