Precision Hydrographic Services (PHS) was established in 2008 and has grown to become a leading hydrographic surveying company, specialising in the acquisition, interpretation and reporting of seabed information. PHS map the physical features of oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, and the adjacent land. PHS conduct hydrographic surveys and provide support for: - Port and harbour management - Navigational safety - Dredging operations - Environment and habitat mapping - Object detection and debris clearance - Coastal zone and infrastructure management - Pipeline, cable and subsea infrastructure, and - Metocean services. Neil Hewitt is Managing Director, FIG/IHO Cat A and Certified Professional Hydrographic Surveyor Level 1 (CPHS1) with more than thirty years experience in various types of hydrographic surveys for nautical charting, coastal zone management, pre, post, and monitoring dredge surveys, pipeline route and as laid surveys. PHS own a custom-built, multi-purpose hydrographic survey vessel, equipped with state-of-the-art hydrographic survey equipment, enabling rapid response. Aptly named, PHS Zephyr is road towable and capable of rapid deployment. PHS deliver hydrographic surveys to national and international standards and operate under a Quality Management System (QMS) which is certified to ISO 9001:2015 Quality System and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Accreditation by ECAAS (JAS-ANZ registered).
