Imperial Tea Exports (Pvt) Ltd. was established in 1997 and is ranked amongst the Top Tea Exporters from Sri Lanka, exporting several brands of tea, mainly its flagship brand, "IMPRA" to over 60 countries worldwide including; Russia, China, Australia, USA, Canada, Germany, Poland and some CIS and Middle Eastern countries. The company manufactures and produces all its products in their own factory premises. The company has 85 permanent staff across divisions of Marketing, Shipping, Quality Assurance, Tea, Finance, IT, Product Development, Packing Material Procurement, Production and Planning. The company has over 200 SKU's in the form of original teas or blends, value added packaging and tailor-made blends (packaged or in tea bags) to suit various market needs. Its main brand IMPRA is available in major supermarkets; Maxima (Lithuania), IKI, RIMI (Baltic countries), Metro (Russia), Carrefour (Tunisia and Poland) and Costco (USA).
