Incorporated on November 25, 2002, CBM began life as a small enterprise in Phnom Penh by two longtime school friends, SilaChy and SoklyKouch. In 1998 and with seed money of $500, earned as tour guides and then in Advertising & Design, the partners began CDWorld, which in 2 years became the leading CD outlet in the country. Building on success, they invested in their first restaurant – the original BBWorld on Monivong Boulevard. Dynamic and ideas-driven entrepreneurs, Sila and Sokly represent the new breed of Cambodian businesspeople. Professional and approachable, with a youthful outlook and passionate commitment to the growth, education and prosperity of all Cambodians, they have worked hard to build a modern, internationally respected company that now employs more than 700 staff across the country through 6 retail F&B brands and CBM catering services.
