As an organization, the City is a full-service city, providing parks & recreation, police, fire, water and sewer service to the community. It also ensures that the roadways are in top shape (ranked one of the highest in the Bay Area for its roadway conditions), and that the lagoon and levees provide not only recreational amenities but also protect the city in terms of flood protection.
