IHS is the International Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) in the Netherlands. IHS was founded in 1958. Our mission is to develop human and institutional capacities to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life in cities; investing in urban professionals who make cities work. Operating on a global scale IHS offers post graduate education and training, advisory services and applied research. 60 years of experience have developed IHS into the leading international knowledge centre in the field of urban management and urban planning.
