Elintarviketeollisuusliitto (ETL) is a business and labor market policy advocacy organization for the food industry, whose task is to create competitive operating conditions that enable growth for companies operating in Finland. The association's 250 member companies and two association members represent the food industry comprehensively. ETL's experts follow the development of the food industry from many different perspectives and cooperate with food chain operators and decision-makers in society both in Finland and the EU. Food Day, organized by ETL in the spring, is the largest training event for professionals in the field. The proceeds from the event support the Research Foundation's research and postgraduate studies in the food industry.
