Needtoknow.dk is a Danish online magazine covering international news and policy. Mainly focussed on thorough analyses, columns and interviews NeedtoKnow.dk is not a newsmagazine, but a magazine aiming to give in-depth analyses of international issues and developments not receiving much coverage in mainstream Danish media. Needtoknow.dk is owned and founded by it's to editors, Mr. Peter Strauss Jørgensen and Mr. Tejs Laustsen Jensen. Tejs Laustsen Jensen M.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, where he graduated with a special focus on conflicts on the Horn of Africa. He has worked with international issues in more than 10 years and served at one point as personal assistant to former Danish Prime Minister, and current president of the Party of European Socialists, Mr. Poul Nyrup Rasmussen. Among other he has been in charge of several peace conferences in The Balkans in the beginning of the decade, and been leading several political development projects in Africa. From 1999 to 2007 he served as a member of the international committee of The Danish Social Democrats, and he has was a delegate for the Danish Government at the 59th UNGA. Furthermore he was a driving force in the establishment of an organised dialogue between young political leaders from Asia and Europe within the framework of Singapore based Asia-Europe Foundation. Peter Strauss Jørgensen is a student of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen. Peter has been in charce of political dialouge projects in South America, Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Between 2006-2008 he was vicepresident in the international NGO, IUSY. Currently Peter is working on projects in Lebanon. He has furthermore been a member of the International Committee in the Social Democratic Party in a number of years and have worked as political assistant for Foreign Affairs spokesman Jeppe Kofod.
